Tomb Raider?

Worlds collide this week when game companies try and some up the past year and promote next year all at the same time. Spike TV’s Video Game Awards capped everything off with some big trailers for 2011 and beyond.  35 headlines distracted us and here’s the best from that list:

Still love the fact that scientists have studied the corrupted blood outbreak as a basis for studying epidemics.

How to Say No to World of Warcraft: Cataclysm – Bitmob
For the rest of you.

Rumor: Kratos and partial roster for Mortal Kombat 9 – Destructoid
Great fit. But still don’t like the exclusives in these fighting games.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception coming in 2011 – Joystiq
Drake is back next year!

Killing Floor to Get Free Holiday Themed DLC, TF2’s Pyro – Piki Geek

Can’t stop the Birds.

Did you hear your Wii and DS crying?

The notable new announcements and trailers from this year’s VGAs.

I haven’t heard anyone who hasn’t liked it.. Seemed like a stupid premise, but apparently it’s very self aware and fun.

I’m not really upset about it. When I buy Red Dead, I am sure I will download it (and love it, because, Cowboys vs. Zombies? What’s not to love?), but it seemed disingenuous to not act angry after my last Mail This.
