IGWT hosts gaming marathon for Animal Rescue Fund

We call Muncie, IN our home, and in the morning of February 28, 2011 the town was hit by unseasonably warm weather and thunderstorms. Tornado sirens were heard in the early hours of the morning, and many areas of the town experienced the worst flooding it has seen in years. Learn how you can help and more!

Muncie ARF underwater

The Muncie Animal Rescue Fund or commonly known as ARF was one of the hardest hit locations in town. The flooding caused extensive damages and ruined nearly the entire food supply. Damages are estimated to be in the thousands. Funding is low, and not being in a flood zone there was no flood insurance. The shelter has been forced to find temporary emergency foster care for 140 pets while damages are assessed. The organization is strapped for cash, and it’s now looking to the community for help.

Animal Rescue FundWhat can you do?

We set a modest goal to raise $100 to donate to ARF, and we need your help! We are spreading awareness wherever we can, and we need you to spread the word. Any amount you can donate to help a local organization who has dedicated itself to helping animals will be amazing.
