Hmm, the Call of Duty part is much bigger this time.
If you didn’t think that you’d be playing a new Call of Duty game after gorging on turkey and instant mashed potatoes this coming November, you were sadly mistaken. After all the rumors and leaked information (which, I might add is beginning to get just as annoying as hacking) Modern Warfare 3 was made official with a trailer that I can honestly say got me pretty pumped up (no I was not erect, I save that for Resident Evil news). I’ve actually enjoyed the series for its campaign more so than the multiplayer (what can I say, I’m the demographic for explosions and machismo), and from what you’ll see in the trailer, the over-the-top antics of Soap and Captain Price shouldn’t disappoint.
I am so used to post-apocalyptic settings filled with monsters and the living dead that the idea of a more realistic approach (such as a military invasion) is intriguing. Plus there are scenes of subway scuba diving, a sport I thought up years ago but never had the funding to see realized.
What do you think of the trailer and the direction for the new Modern Warfare?
