Net Heads (Update) – Horrible Night Out 4/15 Indianapolis

Horrible Night Out

We’ve come up with a few tips for newcomers to Net Heads. While Net Heads does have a wide variety of games, getting large multiplayer games going can be tricky no matter where you are. So we want to make sure everyone has what the need to play the games they want and with their gamer profile if that is important to them. This isn’t required by any means, but if you have extra gear/games it can only help.

  1. Bring your 360 gamertag on a USB stick or memory card (if you want achievements and your friends list)
  2. Bring Xbox 360 games with you that you want to play (and label them)
  3. Bring a wireless controller with a chargeable battery (and label it)

It’s time to get out of the house to play some video games. You know, with cool people, and some of the Horrible Night crew as well.

We’d like to invite you and your friends to a Horrible Night Out on April 15th at 8pm at Net Heads. Net Heads is a locally owned internet and video game cafe with a killer setup for Xbox 360, PC, and Wii gaming. They have a variety of games on hand as well as snacks, drinks, and beer available on Fridays. (See what we did there?) Gamers can play solo or with friends locally or online. We will be playing a combination of Crysis 2, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Black Ops, Halo: Reach and whatever else we can get our hands on.

So come hang out and game with Horrible Night, Net Heads, and friends. Meet some local gamers, try out a few new games, discover new achievement whoring strategies, and feel at home while your new friends chase you around with weapons.

  1. JDevL

Good question, they will have plenty of stuff there. But if people have extra stuff to bring, it can only help. So no pressure if you don’t have games or controllers.

  2. Wizardtrain187

I am going to bring a Twister board in case all the stations are used up

  3. Erik

I’d be down for some Settlers. I’m going to be one of the employees working that night. We have plenty of extra controllers available, I think that JDEVL’s announcement here was to help make things easier on our end (thanks) but don’t worry if you don’t have extras.

We have a lounge area with nice seating and tables, so setting up Settlers shouldn’t be that bad, but the real games are on the XBox360 and PCs :)

  4. GiffTor

Thanks, Erik – that cuts down on my luggage to bring from a duffel to a backpack. Whew.

  5. Erik

Our controllers aren’t wireless though, so if you prefer that freedom of movement and distance, then you’re going to want to bring it, label it, and have extra batteries.

  6. GiffTor

Except your “A” game. You should bring that with you. Or wizardtrain187 will eat you.
