Duke Nukem Forever Delayed, Grass Green, Sky Blue

In news that probably doesn’t surprise anyone, Gearbox Software’s Randy Pitchford made the announcement via video (above) that the release date for Duke Nukem Forever would be pushed back from May 3rd to June 14th in North America and June 10th worldwide.

Scratch that plan gentleman, I need another month to think up more fart and penis jokes.

Cole totally called this, seems his psychic abilities are continuing to grow (if only he’d accept that with great power comes great responsibility, those dancing men in tiny shorts that he keeps projecting into my head are getting tiresome). Despite what excuses Gearbox has, I truely believe this has a bit to do with Bulletstorm and the fact that people need a solid 3 months before they’re ready for another foul mouthed protaganist. In addition to that, I wonder if this also has anything to do with the announcement of some of Duke’s multiplayer mechanics. I personally find it very offensive that such content will be in a game. I mean 8 person multiplayer matches, really? What is this nineteen-ninety-suck?
